Real Engagements: Telluride Ski Resort Surprise Proposal with Evan & Maggie- Proposal Photography

Last fall, Evan reached out to us with an exciting request—he wanted us to capture the moment he proposed to his longtime girlfriend, Maggie. His vision? A breathtaking proposal in the mountains of Telluride, surrounded by the golden hues of fall.

Setting the Stage

Before Maggie arrived, we ventured up the mountain to scout the perfect location. The aspens had transformed the landscape into a masterpiece of vibrant yellows and oranges. Evan arrived shortly after, carefully choosing a spot with the most stunning view. To make the moment even more special, he set up a cozy bench and lights, creating a picturesque setting for his big question.

The Moment She Said Yes

After everything was set, Evan took the gondola back down to meet Maggie. As they walked hand in hand to the proposal spot, they soaked in the scenery and each other’s company. Then, with the mountains as their witness, Evan got down on one knee and asked Maggie to marry him. Without hesitation, she said yes, leaping into his arms with pure excitement and love.

Capturing the Joy

Once they had a moment to take it all in, we started a mini couples session while the excitement was still fresh. The emotions, the golden aspens, and the stunning Telluride backdrop all combined to create unforgettable engagement photos—memories they’ll cherish forever.
